As a requirement of the Institute Charter, all members are required to revalidate their membership of the Institute:
1. He/She is a founding member of the Institute with sound academic and relevant professional qualifications and experiences.
2. Applicants for Membership certification must be financially updated to date with the payment of at least three (3) years Annual Subscription (for both Chapter and National) including the current year.
3. Participation in the prescribed recertification workshop organized by the Institute’s Training Committee
4. Participate in the Induction at the Annual General Meeting of the Institute
Individuals applying for Full Membership of the Institute must have the following requirements:
1. Must be adjudged as having the requisite academic qualification and experience by the
Council,
2. Is a holder of the Institute’s Associate Membership with at least four years of practical
experience subsequent to his Associate Membership enlistment and
3. possesses other relevant qualifications acceptable and considered suitable and relevant by
the Council.
4. Pay the prescribed Membership Application Fee
5. Write and pass the Full Membership Examination
Applicants into the Associate Membership Cadre of the Institute must be:
1. A candidate who has satisfactorily passed all required and mandated Institute’s professional examinations as approved by the Council or is a holder of the Institute’s Student Membership
