About Our Institute

Who are We?

Founded in 2003, and chartered in 2023, the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (Chartered) is Africa’s premier Institute for strategy crafting. As a non-government, non-profit, independent professional, learning and research organization with an extensive range of courses in Strategic Management, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Governance, and Digital Innovation we set the pace for executive training and professional development.

Our Mission

is to advance and promote knowledge and skills in the practice of strategic management, strategic leadership, strategic entrepreneurship, and governance through research, publications, education, training, certification, induction and regulation of students and members.
Our Vision

is to be a world-class professional body, a pan-African best reference in strategic management, and a key player in positioning Nigeria and Africa for leadership in the global society.

The Institute is headed by the President/Chairman in Council. The President is elected for a two-year term, renewable for two terms. The current president is Alex Ndudi Enebeli, FSM.

Mr. Obitunde Obiyemi, FSM

REGISTRAR/COUNCIL SECRETARY

Mr. Obitunde Obiyemi is the Registrar/CEO, as the chief administrative officer of the Institute he is appointed by the Governing Council to coordinate all activities of the Institute via the National Secretariat.
